{"id":3066,"date":"2025-11-18T14:07:23","date_gmt":"2025-11-18T14:07:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/academy.kaust.edu.sa\/?page_id=3066"},"modified":"2026-01-28T07:39:18","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T07:39:18","slug":"srsi-application-process","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/academy.kaust.edu.sa\/ar\/srsi-application-process\/","title":{"rendered":"SRSI Application Process"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<section class=\"u-section u-section--content\" data-block=\"content\">\n\t\t<div class=\"u-wrapper u-wrapper--normal\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"content-hld\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"content__title u-title u-title--normal\">SRSI Application Process<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"content__content u-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Applications close by <strong>January 15th, 2026<\/strong>.<br \/>\nAny applicant who has not submitted the application and paid the application fee by January 22nd, 2026 will not be considered for admission.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The application form, which opens via the online portal, includes biographical information, academic history, answers to essay-type questions about personal motivations, aspirations, research interests, and extracurricular experiences. Two letters of recommendation from high school teachers in mathematics or science are also required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Documents<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qodorat test score (if available)<\/li>\n<li>English test score<\/li>\n<li>SAT scores (if available)<\/li>\n<li>High School Grade 10 transcript<\/li>\n<li>Certificates for all reported extracurricular activities<\/li>\n<li>Guardians\u2019 consent form<\/li>\n<li>Copy of the national ID<\/li>\n<li>Digital photo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saudi National<\/li>\n<li>Currently in <strong>Grade 11<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Meet <strong>one<\/strong> of the following English Language requirements:<br \/>\n&#8212;<strong> TOEFL iBT<\/strong> total score of 80 or above<br \/>\n&#8212;<strong> IELTS<\/strong> total score of 6.0 or above<br \/>\n&#8212; <strong>TOEIC<\/strong> total score of 780 or above (please read notes below)<\/li>\n<li>Meet <strong>one<\/strong> of the following Standardized Testing requirements:<br \/>\n&#8212;<strong> Qodorat<\/strong> total score of 87 or above<br \/>\n&#8212; <strong>SAT<\/strong> total score of 1200 minimum, with <strong>SAT Math<\/strong> score of 700<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Students who submit a TOEIC score will be required to submit an IELTS or TOEFL iBT by <strong>31st January 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Students who meet the application criteria will be invited to take the placement test on <strong>31st January 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Students who pass the placement test will be invited for an online interview by <strong>mid February 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Applications results will be announced by <strong>early or mid April<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; The above are the minimum requirements to qualify for applying to the program. Since admission to the SRSI is very competitive, successful students have reported much higher scores than minimum in the past. Many strengthened their application by reporting two standardized test scores.
