Science, Technology, and Entrepreneurship Program
King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), represented by the KAUST Academy, with its scientific and organizational weight, offers this program that directly focuses on preparing Saudi high school students for admission to the world’s most prestigious universities.
In this program, we will work to ensure that students receive quality training in various fields that guarantee the achievement of goals.
This will be through training that includes the essential experiences and strategies necessary to develop a comprehensive understanding of subjects, which not only ensures their acceptance into these universities but also guarantees their continued study with the required efficiency.

برنامج (HIGH-PO الصناعة والتعدين) لإعداد طلاب الصف الثاني الثانوي لمرحلة البكالوريوس
برنامج إعداد جامعي يستهدف تطوير المهارات الفنية للكوادر الوطنية، ويؤهل الملتحقين للحصول على قبول دراسي في أفضل (30) جامعة عالمية معترف بها في برنامج خادم الحرمين الشريفين للابتعاث (مسار الرواد)، وذلك في تخصصات نوعية تتواءم مع احتياجات القطاع الصناعي، تشمل أشباه الموصلات والتقنيات الناشئة وغيرها

“إدراكاً للأهمية القصوى للتحول الحقيقي نحو اقتصاد المعرفة وتضافر كافة الجهود لإستثمار هذا التوجه الذي تدعمه المملكة وقيادتها الرشيدة، وإيماناً بأن الوقود الحقيقي لعجلة افتصاد المعرفة هو الإنسان السعودي وبالأخص الشباب الموهوب الواعد الذي يثبت يوماً بعد يوم أنه يستطيع أن يقدم حلولاً إبداعية وخلاَّقة تجعل منه دائما مرشح في كل المحافل لاحتلال الصف الأول.
ومع تسارع عجلة التطور حول العالم في شتى المجالات والرغبة الدائمة للمجتمعات في اللحاق بركبها، أصبح لزاما علينا هنا أن نقدم لشبابنا كل ما نستطيع من دعم وفرص حقيقية تجعله قادراً على التماشي مع هذه التحديات التي تظهر يوماً بعد يوم في مجال المعرفة وخاصة المعرفة العلمية.
لهذا كان التعاون بين وزارة الصناعة والثروة المعدنية بما تملِكه من زخم ورؤية واضحة لتحقيق أهدافها التي تصب دائما في تعظيم الثروة الوطنية الحقيقية وهي المواطن السعودي، وبين جامعة الملك عبد الله للعلوم والتقنية ” كاوست ” ممثلة في أكاديمية كاوست بما لديها من ثقل علمي وتنظيمي مشهود لإطلاق هذا البرنامج والذي يهتم بشكل مباشر بإعداد الطلبة السعوديين في المرحلة الثانوية للقبول في الجامعات المصنفة الأكبر على مستوى العالم.
في هذا البرنامج سنعمل على أن يتلقي الطلاب تدريباً نوعياً في شتى المجالات التي تضمن لهم تحقيق الأهداف، تدريباً يحتوي على الخبرات والاستراتيجيات الأساسية والضرورية للوصول لموسوعيه التفكير في الموضوعات التي فقط لا تضمن له القبول في الجامعات الأكبر على مستوى العالم، بل تضمن له استمرارية الدراسة بالكفاءة المطلوبة.”

This is a track within the Steps program that focuses on preparing only G11 students for a professional future in semiconductors-related fields. This track is sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
The program emphasizes STEM subjects, preparation for Standardized exams, personal and soft skills, and more.
Saudi Students in the 10th and 11th grades can apply to the program.
There is no specific GPA requirement for admission; however, you will be asked to provide your GPA in the registration form and upload a copy of your transcript.
Yes, all applicants will undergo an admissions test followed by a personal interview.
The admission test consists of two parts:
one focused on math and science subjects, which is two hours.
And the other part is on English language skills which last for one hour.
No, but there will be an English language test as part of the admission tests to assess the student’s level.
The Steps program runs for fifteen months, in alignment with the academic calendar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The program is delivered in a hybrid format, combining in-person sessions at KAUST and online learning through platforms, in alignment with the academic calendar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Absolutely. Academic mentorship, including guidance on university majors and future career paths, is a core part of the program.
The program is fully funded and completely free of charge, including accommodation and meals during the in-person periods of the program.
